Dost Education, founded in 2017, runs Dost Ki Paathshaala—a school-readiness program that delivers short audio lessons to parents who join via a missed call. Manually scheduling and sending campaign calls consumed hours daily for their five-person team and was error-prone, so they adopted Exotel’s call automation and outbound call APIs (including Passthru applets) to automate missed-call onboarding and recurring calls.

Using Exotel, Dost implemented automated phone calls and missed-call solutions, segmented parents for tailored messaging, and tracked engagement with pickup and listen-rate metrics. Exotel’s automation and analytics cut manual effort by 90%, enabled scale from about 200 users at launch to roughly 10,000 users today, and provided real-time insights to optimize timing and content.
