EXL helped a large U.S. health system respond to COVID-19 by updating its databases to capture new pandemic-specific information for government and payer reporting. The health system needed these upgrades to support online appointments, surgery scheduling, test centers, and treatment facilities without disrupting operations or increasing costs.
EXL quickly upgraded the databases and implemented new claims and provider management systems while still meeting existing deliverables on time. As a result, the health system continued operating, met new reporting requirements, avoided major added expense, and also worked with EXL on a new predictive model to improve service and patient footfall.
