Impact Group is a fast-growing sales and marketing agency and food broker, founded in 1994, that represents thousands of CPG products and has expanded through multiple acquisitions. As the business grew, Impact needed an ERP solution to streamline order processing, integrated EDI, commission reconciliation, sales reporting and deduction tracking across multiple companies and locations.

In December 2001 Exceedra implemented its GenWeb Order & Sales Management solution, aligning order processing with manufacturers’ requirements and adding functionality for sales, pricing, promotions, invoicing, commission, inventory and reporting. The web-based, EDI-ready system united separate companies onto a single scalable database (growing users from 12 to 180), automated manual processes, improved real-time sales visibility, enhanced order management and simplified commission reconciliation.
