Using eSkill Talent Assessment PlatformTM and Talent Bullseye for Recruiting and Evaluating Telephone Consultants

KPMG Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS), a shared-services affiliate of KPMG and a leading audit, tax and advisory firm in Jamaica, needed to quickly attract candidates with accounting and financial reasoning skills for newly created roles. Traditional recruitment channels and social posts weren’t driving enough qualified traffic to the company site, and hiring managers needed a more effective way to reach and evaluate applicants before a hard deadline.

KPMG partnered with eSkill to create an “Accounting Challenge” — a five-question skills test from eSkill’s validated library posted as a public link on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, with an Amazon gift-card drawing to boost participation. The campaign collected names, emails and test results for recruiter follow-up, generated nearly 1,000 responses (versus an expected 100–200), produced a pool of hundreds of well-qualified candidates, filled the open positions, and drove additional applications to other roles.
