OSF Digital, a Quebec‑based application development and technology integration firm with about 550 employees worldwide, faced rapid growth (from 450 to 550 employees in 2017) that strained its recruiting. HR needed a faster, more reliable way to identify technical skills and fit, place candidates in the right roles across multiple countries, and maintain hiring quality while reducing time-to-hire.
OSF adopted eSkill to create customized multi-subject assessments (e.g., PHP plus JavaScript/HTML and English) and built a reusable test library; each test took ~30 minutes for candidates and ~1 hour to configure/administrate. The solution shortened time-to-hire from over 30 days to 10–14 days, cut screening costs by 64% (about $640 saved per hire in the case example), and reduced recruiter time spent on résumé screening so managers only interviewed top-scoring candidates.
