Child Parent Centers, Inc., a Tucson-based non-profit delivering Head Start and related pre-natal and preschool services across southeastern Arizona, needed a modern way to assess computer skills. Their previous clerical testing tool was obsolete and unsupported, so leadership expanded assessments to include all new hires and current employees to speed candidate screening and identify internal training needs.
They implemented the eSkill Talent Assessment Platform for its ready-made and customizable tests, remote applicant access, and electronic reporting. In a pilot, time-to-hire decreased, hiring managers quickly identified and hired two high‑proficiency candidates, and the organization now uses assessments to establish employee skill baselines, guide training, and set future screening criteria.
