Beauty trailblazer Sephora streamlines its moves with Eptura

Sephora, the global beauty retailer, faced mounting complexity as it grew — forcing frequent reorganizations and moves across 10 floors, two buildings and 300,000+ sq. ft. Edgar Sanchez, Manager of Corporate Facilities, was managing 1,500 people and 40 departments using AutoCAD, Big Sky, Word and Excel and needed a better way to plan and execute large moves (including a 400-person move in November 2015). Sephora selected Eptura to solve this challenge.

Eptura implemented its Space Management module, giving Sephora online floor-plan visualization, fast move creation, predictive move scenarios and built-in reporting to monitor portfolio usage. With Eptura, the November 2015 move completed smoothly, planning time dropped from two–three months to about one week, floor maps became organized and clear, and FM team productivity improved measurably.
