The Municipality of Copenhagen sought to increase citizen recycling rates to meet a 45% target set in its resource plan. To help select and develop effective initiatives, the municipality engaged Epinion to understand citizen assessments and experiences with different recycling programs.
Epinion conducted comprehensive research, including desk research, field observations, and qualitative and quantitative interviews with citizens. This multi-method approach provided valuable insights into the usability and potential of various recycling initiatives. The data and analysis from Epinion gave the municipality the necessary baseline to develop its resource and refuse plan for 2019-2024.
