Køge Municipality implemented a new 'Payment for Parking' system in its city center and needed to evaluate its effectiveness and determine if changes were necessary. The municipality engaged the vendor Epinion to assess users' experiences and perspectives on this new initiative.
Epinion conducted a mixed-method evaluation, surveying 1,297 users and performing qualitative observations over two days in the affected areas. The research identified that users were often confused by the new system, particularly regarding the payment zones and methods. As a result, Epinion was able to provide Køge Municipality with a clear recommendation to improve communication and information about the parking rules to enhance user understanding.
