A Epinion Case Study

Preview of the Danish Health Authority Case Study

Monitoring and evaluation of competence boost in the field of dementia

The Danish Health Authority, a government body in Denmark, sought to effectively monitor and evaluate a major national initiative to boost dementia care competencies across its healthcare system. They engaged the vendor Epinion to assess this program, which was allocated 80 million DKK and aimed to train over 20,000 employees.

Epinion implemented a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation solution utilizing survey tools to measure participant gains at multiple stages. This was complemented by in-depth case studies of twelve highly successful programs. The results provided the Danish Health Authority with continuous insight into project progression and, crucially, identified the key factors that made certain programs effective. The findings from Epinion formed a basis for expanding these best practices into other municipalities and courses.
