Destination Nordvestkysten, a tourism destination, needed to understand how the COVID-19 pandemic was fundamentally changing guest behavior and preferences. This evidence-based insight was required to navigate the crisis and adapt their products and services. They partnered with vendor Epinion to address this challenge.
Epinion designed and executed a large-scale study based on over 3,000 interviews across 10 destinations. The solution provided crucial insights into new tourist target groups, changed behaviors, and future travel expectations. To activate these findings, Epinion delivered the results through webinars, enabling local companies to use the data for immediate innovation and future planning.
