A Epinion Case Study
Aarhus Municipality faced the challenge of monitoring two "softer" city objectives: that all citizens feel the city is a good place to live and that everyone has a sense of active citizenship. These qualitative goals required a method for measurement. In close collaboration with the municipality, the vendor Epinion developed a comprehensive survey method to take the temperature of these objectives.
Epinion implemented a solution involving major data collections in 2016, 2018, and 2020, conducting phone and web surveys with a representative sample of over 4,000 citizens. This provided the municipality with valid data for target monitoring. The analysis from Epinion revealed key insights, such as the major role cultural activities play in making Aarhus an attractive city for its inhabitants.
