Night Shift Brewing, a growing brewery founded in 2012, needed a business management solution that could keep up with its expanding operations. Its previous systems could not connect financials and inventory, leading to manual dual entry, extra work, and headaches. Encompass Technologies provided Production Cloud to help the brewery better manage production, inventory, sales, and financials in one system.

With Encompass Technologies’ Production Cloud, Night Shift Brewing gained better transparency across the business, plus demand forecasting and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) tools to plan materials and costs more accurately. The brewery used MRP to map out its 2019 hop requirements before supplier negotiations, which helped it save thousands of dollars on hops even though it needed a larger volume than the year before. These savings supported further location and product expansion.
