A Employment Technologies Case Study
The Sinneave Family Foundation in Alberta, Canada, helps autistic adults live, learn, work, and thrive, but its EmploymentWorks employability program was disrupted when the pandemic halted in-person employer visits. To keep participants engaged in career exploration and job sampling, the foundation turned to Employment Technologies’ EASy Simulations as part of its EmploymentWorks Virtual program.
Employment Technologies’ interactive job simulations gave participants realistic, accessible workplace practice on any smart device, complete with feedback and custom reports. The solution helped break down barriers such as location, anxiety, sensory sensitivities, and transportation, while supporting skill-building and confidence; the program has been used across 19 sites in 7 provinces, serving ages 15+ and supporting more than 1,000 job simulations completed.
