Mi Casa Resource Center, which supports the economic advancement of Latino and low-income families in the Denver metro area, needed a better way to help job seekers prepare for employment tests and build skills for new careers. To make training more engaging and less intimidating, Mi Casa looked for a solution from Employment Technologies, using its simulation-based tools for bank teller training and candidate assessment.
Employment Technologies implemented EASy Simulation for Tellers and EASy Simulation – Virtual Customer to deliver realistic, diagnostic skills assessments. The result was a more fun and accessible learning experience for participants ages 18 to 56, including English-language learners, while also helping Mi Casa refine its curriculum and giving employers useful candidate results to support hiring decisions.
