IDELUX-AIVE Group, the public-service organization responsible for environmental management and socio-economic development across the 44 municipalities of Luxembourg Province, faced an aging intranet that no longer supported evolving collaboration needs. To move beyond a “dry” intranet replacement and enable idea- and information-sharing across its teams, IDELUX selected Elium to deliver a modern collaborative platform as the new internal communication and knowledge hub.

Elium implemented a user-focused intranet replacement rolled out to roughly 500 users (including employees without email and the Group’s directors) and put into production in November 2016 after a 12-week delivery phase. The platform centralized institutional content, procedures, market intelligence, events and informal exchanges, reduced time to access information, and increased real-time sharing; launch activities and training helped drive adoption. As a result, Elium’s solution boosted employee interaction—visible in press reviews and “flash news”—and enabled the organization to address previously unmet employee needs (for example biodiversity posts, carpooling and internal classifieds).
