Case Study: Capgemini Invent strengthens collective intelligence and boosts knowledge sharing with Elium

A Elium Case Study

Preview of the Capgemini Case Study

Capgemini Invent strengthens collective intelligence

Capgemini Invent (part of Capgemini), the global strategy and transformation consulting brand, faced the challenge of strengthening knowledge capitalization and collective intelligence to support digital transformation. To boost productivity and make premium assets, methodologies and experts easier to find and share across its 1,200+ consultants, Capgemini turned to Elium to deploy a collaborative knowledge‑sharing platform.

Elium implemented a structured platform with three space types (My Resources, My Entities, My Projects), onboarding users and training a project team before the September 2015 launch; the system now holds about 15,000 documents and supports search, project collaboration and internal communication. The impact was rapid and measurable: within 12 months teams shared as much content as they had in the previous seven years, enabling a shift to distributed knowledge management, more collaborative working practices, and stronger knowledge‑sharing incentives—deliverables attributed to Elium’s solution.
