Prototype:IT is a Texas-based IT services firm of veteran professionals that offers everything from infrastructure deployment and application development to hosting and enterprise architecture. As the company moved into the managed/application service provider (MSP/ASP) space—hosting Citrix- and web-based applications for small and midsize hospitality and energy customers—it needed enterprise-class monitoring and root-cause analysis to report service levels to clients and keep its data center and networks running smoothly.
