Republic Bank, a long‑established Barbados bank, faced an aging, costly legacy platform and needed a best‑in‑class core banking solution to improve agility, customer experience and a unified 360° view across core banking, CRM, treasury and e‑banking. To modernize operations and automate processes, Republic Bank engaged EdgeVerve to deploy the Finacle suite (core banking, CRM, treasury and e‑banking).

EdgeVerve implemented Finacle with end‑to‑end migration, parameterization, device integration, training and change management, delivering core, CRM and treasury in a 22‑month program. The transformation increased operational capacity and automation, enabled single‑window teller service and multicurrency handling, eliminated many Excel processes, and supported a seamless subsidiary merger. Measured results include a 50% increase in accounts opened since go‑live (Oct 2009) and a 50% reduction in End‑of‑Day processing time, demonstrating clear cost and service improvements delivered by EdgeVerve.
