A EdgeVerve Case Study
Republic Bank, one of the largest banks in the English-speaking Caribbean, needed a technology transformation to support growth and new retail and corporate products. To modernize channels and accelerate innovation the bank upgraded EdgeVerve’s Finacle e-banking solution (from v6.4 to v11.0.9), Finacle’s Integrated Alert server (to v10.5) and its SMS banking application, and engaged Finacle IVS as the independent testing partner to ensure a smooth rollout.
Finacle IVS (Infosys) delivered a co‑engagement testing approach—creating comprehensive test cases, running exploratory testing in SIT and UAT, and providing daily/weekly risk reporting and macro tools—resulting in lower defect injection and rejection rates, time and effort savings, and a successful handover to the bank’s test team. The program met Republic Bank’s business and testing expectations, improving quality and operational readiness for EdgeVerve’s Finacle platform.
