A EdgeVerve Case Study
The Queensland State Government, through its Department of Children, Youth Justice and Multicultural Affairs, confronted inconsistent processes, poor visibility and payment/compliance risks across a AU$1bn annual social services spend delivered by 600+ non‑government providers under some 2,200 active contracts. To shift from output‑based grants to outcomes‑based commissioning and improve service quality, the Department partnered with EdgeVerve to configure and implement the Procure to Invest (P2i) platform (powered by TradeEdge Social Services Procurement and JAGGAER One).
EdgeVerve delivered the P2i procure‑to‑pay solution, integrating sourcing, contract lifecycle, performance management and payments into a single SaaS platform with a supplier portal, standardized reporting and stronger controls. The implementation provided unified visibility across departments and providers, enabled consistent measurement of social outcomes, reduced compliance and payment‑error risk, improved transaction probity through automation, and freed service providers to focus more on delivery—covering the program’s 600+ NGOs, ~2,200 contracts and AU$1bn annual investment.
