Albaraka, a leading Moroccan microfinance institution serving around 151,000 customers with roughly $130 million in outstanding loans, needed a modern, flexible core banking system to automate manual processes, centralize loan origination and scale its branch and loan‑book growth. EdgeVerve delivered Finacle (core modules, loan origination, CRM and third‑party integrations) in a 15‑month program, automating the entire loan lifecycle, adding online credit‑bureau checks, time‑bound workflows and a centralized MIS. The solution accelerated loan processing, strengthened compliance and staff productivity, enabled faster product launches and drove measurable increases in new customer acquisition, disbursals and collections while providing centralized operational control.
