Global Parmaceutical Leader, a firm with 110K employees across 100 countries, struggled to support its helpdesk and HR teams in finding precise rules buried in many policy documents, multiple natural languages and frequent amendments. The customer sought a way to innovate and unify HR—improving the speed, ease and accuracy of accessing and comparing Global Labor Agreement rules—and engaged EdgeVerve, leveraging the Infosys Nia platform to address this challenge.

EdgeVerve used the Infosys Nia platform to build an ML-driven knowledge base and conversational interface covering 127 documents, 16 topics and 7 legal entities (in French) to rapidly answer employee helpdesk queries. The solution delivered by EdgeVerve improved HR contractual compliance, reduced risk, increased productivity and boosted employee satisfaction by making labor agreement rules faster and easier to access.
