Leading Global Beverage Company, with operations in 20+ countries, needed to standardize and optimize fragmented cash collection and route settlement & billing processes that varied by country, language and local rules. They engaged EdgeVerve and its AssistEdge Discover solution to rapidly map and analyze process variations and identify which processes to centralize, standardize and automate.
EdgeVerve deployed AssistEdge Discover on 50 user systems, capturing 3,480 automated recordings to create interactive process maps in two weeks (over 90% accurate and validated with 36 user interviews). The analysis uncovered ~300 process variations, identified 74 processes for improvement and 16 for automation, and produced an optimized process blueprint—delivering an estimated $1M annual savings and a reduction of 65,000 person-hours.
