Leading Sportswear Brand Company, an internationally renowned athletic footwear and apparel brand with a presence in 170 countries and 1000+ retail stores, faced a pandemic-induced inventory glut while e‑retail partners experienced out-of-stock situations and could not take customer orders. To enable partners to sell without holding physical stock and to orchestrate orders in real time, the company engaged EdgeVerve and its TradeEdge platform.

EdgeVerve implemented TradeEdge to build a global partner exchange platform that made the brand’s inventory a virtual hub, integrated Order Management, Inventory and Logistics via APIs, and delivered real-time order orchestration with sub-2-second SLAs. The solution exposed 27K products to partners without physical stock, processed ~75K orders in a day totaling $2.5M during a festive sale, enabled an “endless aisle” for e‑retailers, and reduced partner inventory holding and client-to-partner transport costs.
