Velos IT is an international IT company specializing in Oracle ERP managed and professional services, including JD Edwards. When Oracle JDE moved to a web-based architecture, Velos IT faced risks to application availability, session persistence and the need to scale services while maintaining a responsive, 24/7 service. After evaluating options, Velos IT selected Edgenexus and its ALB-X load balancer to address these challenges.

Edgenexus deployed a pair of ALB-X devices in Active/Passive mode, providing Layer 7 load balancing, session affinity, SSL offload, content caching and compression to optimise delivery. Since deployment Velos IT has incurred no downtime, achieved seamless scalability and stronger network resilience, and reports an improved, reliable end‑user experience—outcomes that led Velos IT to recommend Edgenexus to other organisations.
