TCS Education, an entrepreneurial non‑profit higher education system operating multiple branded institutions and campuses, consolidated its websites into a single web farm and found Microsoft Network Load Balancer unable to meet new performance and feature requirements (real‑time protocol manipulation, compression, NAT, traffic shaping, QoS, DoS protection and SSL offload). To address these challenges they selected the Edgenexus ALB‑X VA as the replacement load‑balancing solution.

Edgenexus deployed a pair of ALB‑X VAs in an active‑active configuration on VMware/Dell infrastructure, delivering layer‑4‑7 load balancing, custom health checks, traffic management and SSL offload.
