Colt Ceano, a channel‑focused cloud platform provider owned by Colt Technology Services, was experiencing rapid global growth and needed to deliver a wide range of services (Hosted VDI, Microsoft Exchange and Lync) with enterprise SLAs across varied hardware and 20 datacentres. To meet these reliability and scalability challenges they chose Edgenexus and its ALB‑X load balancer (including the ALB‑X VA) as a core component of their standard “pod” deployment model.

Edgenexus implemented HA pairs of ALB‑X appliances (virtual and hardware) across Colt Ceano’s global pods, using features like flightPATH traffic routing, custom health checks and jetPACK deployment templates for fast Exchange/Lync configuration. The Edgenexus solution proved VMware‑ready, easy to deploy and maintain, and cost‑effective via flat licensing—enabling seamless scalability and resilient service delivery to 300 partners and some 30,000 end users across all 20 data centres.
