Utah Clinic Retains Independence by Prioritizing Patients and Providers

Granger Medical Clinic is a physician-governed, multi-specialty group serving the Salt Lake Valley with 18 locations and more than 160 providers. Facing rapid regional growth, the clinic needed an EHR partner that would preserve its independence and clinical preferences while delivering interoperability, Meaningful Use tools, population-health capabilities, and stronger patient engagement.

In 2013 Granger implemented eClinicalWorks, trained staff, and web-enabled patients to improve workflows, communication, and data sharing. Four years later the clinic remained independent with a 99.1% ACO quality score, interoperability links with the University of Utah and Intermountain Healthcare, healthier finances (A/R days ~35), expanded population-health reporting, and higher patient and provider satisfaction through customizable EHR features and patient portal access.
