The Clark Clinic, founded by Dr. Lowell F. Clark in 1986, is a primary care practice serving rural, underserved communities in Central Florida where many patients are on Medicaid. Facing the typical challenges of rural medicine—limited local resources, transportation barriers, and a failed prior telemedicine effort that lacked reliability—the clinic needed a dependable, integrated telehealth solution to extend care to patients in clinics and skilled nursing facilities.

After evaluating vendors, the clinic expanded its partnership with eClinicalWorks and rolled out healow TeleVisits through a “Tech It Up” campaign, using healow Open Access for online booking and Messenger for patient engagement.
