Northwest Community Healthcare Medical Group, a large multi‑specialty practice serving thousands in the Chicago suburbs, faced significant "information asymmetry" because its eClinicalWorks outpatient EHR did not easily share records with the local hospital’s Epic system. NCH activated the Carequality network (eClinicalWorks also supports CommonWell) to enable seamless interoperability, surfacing hospital data directly in the eClinicalWorks Right Chart Panel at the point of care.
