MedRite, an 18-location urgent care practice, was asked by several sleepaway camps to provide daily on-site COVID-19 testing for more than 300 campers and staff so camps could operate safely during the pandemic.

MedRite partnered with eClinicalWorks and used/modified existing technology—online preregistration and patient portal, handheld kiosks, and drive-up/walk-up workflows—to streamline testing. The team could screen up to 300 people in about four hours each day, helping ensure a safe camp environment and saving time for patients and staff.
