First Choice Neurology launched Neuro2Go to make its neurology expertise available beyond its Greater Miami practice after recognizing that the traditional referral system wasn’t meeting patients’ needs for same-day or next-day access. Patients facing urgent concerns — from seizures and severe migraines to dementia questions — as well as those without current insurance or who live far from specialists, needed a faster, more convenient way to consult a neurologist.

Neuro2Go uses the healow TeleVisits platform (integrated with the practice EMR) to offer secure, HIPAA-compliant video consultations to anyone, anywhere, with no insurance or enrollment required and a $95 booking fee. Appointments are assigned by scheduling staff and appear directly on physicians’ schedules; the service has increased access and convenience for both younger and older patients, delivered quicker clinical reassurance, and is building a nationwide database to inform future neurological care.
