CHEMED is a Federally Qualified Health Center in Lakewood, New Jersey, led by CEO Dr. Dovid Friedman with a mission to provide quality, integrated care to uninsured and underinsured patients. Facing fragmented systems across medical, dental, and behavioral health services, CHEMED needed a modern healthcare IT partner to unify records, improve communication, and streamline workflows across its growing range of specialties.

In 2017 CHEMED implemented the eClinicalWorks EHR/PM across more than 65 providers, adding patient portal access, kiosks, and population-health tools for case management and analytics. The result: a single, unified chart across specialties, faster check-ins and scheduling, reduced no-shows via automated reminders, more efficient provider workflows, better continuity between medical, dental, and behavioral health, and an overall improved patient experience.
