Creighton University Implements Easyvista Outside of It for Successful Covid-19 Response

Creighton University, a private Jesuit university in Omaha serving about 8,910 students, needed a fast, auditable way to manage campus access and distribute PPE during the COVID‑19 pandemic. Campus leaders had to track who was on campus, where they were going, and for how long, while routing approvals through supervisors, deans and the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) and ensuring PPE requests were coordinated and prioritized.

Creighton extended its existing EasyVista EV Service Manager and Service Apps to create online request-and-approval workflows for building access and PPE, replacing email chains and spreadsheets. The solution was rolled out in weeks, centralized requests and approvals, and between March and November 2020 processed roughly 300 building-access requests and 150 PPE requests — saving time, reducing missed communications, and continuing to support other IT and operational needs.
