IBM Expands Its Use of Dynamsoft's SDK for Document Scanning in Its Datacap Web Solution to Support Mac® OS X

IBM, a global technology and consulting company, faced a challenge with its Datacap Insight Edition content management solution. Their customers wanted to expand document scanning via web browsers to work on macOS in addition to Windows, requiring the same user experience on both platforms. To meet this need, IBM worked with the vendor Dynamsoft and its Dynamic Web TWAIN SDK.

Leveraging the Mac edition of Dynamsoft's SDK, IBM was able to quickly implement the required cross-platform scanning solution. This allowed IBM's customers worldwide to scan documents seamlessly on both Windows and macOS, maintaining a consistent user experience. As a result, the IBM development team could focus their efforts on other value-added functional expansions for their cognitive capture solution.
