A multi-billion-dollar apparel brand with millions of monthly visitors and retail outlets in 24 countries needed to make its high-value homepage banner drive more revenue by always showing the right seasonal products to the right visitors. The challenge was to automatically detect local weather and swap banners quickly as conditions changed so promotional content stayed relevant.
The brand integrated Dynamic Yield’s weather API and replaced a static banner with a dynamic one that served cold-weather creative below 40°F and warm-weather creative above 40°F, while continuously A/B testing creative variations. Within the first month this approach delivered a 13.3% increase in revenue per session, a 10.3% lift in conversions and a 2.7% rise in average order value.
