Ochsner Sport is Switzerland’s largest sporting goods retailer with 80+ stores and a wide assortment of gear for every type of athlete. Faced with a diverse customer base and a vast product catalog, the retailer wanted to reduce friction by surfacing highly relevant items for each shopper, while gaining the flexibility to test, launch, and scale recommendation strategies without relying on developer resources.

Ochsner ran a three‑month bakeoff and replaced its incumbent PDP recommendations with Dynamic Yield’s algorithms, which lifted average revenue per user by 41% on product pages. The team then rolled out widgets across the homepage, 404 and no‑results pages, achieving a 5.1% uplift in purchases per user (and 8% revenue uplift) on the homepage test, contributing to a 46X ROI and accounting for 22% of the site’s direct revenue.
