Change.org studies mobile UX with dscout in 3 weeks

Change.org, a platform for social change, sought to understand how users interact with their mobile app in daily life and to gather feedback prior to its public launch. Their challenge was to conduct this qualitative research with a very small, resource-challenged internal team. They partnered with the vendor dscout to utilize its mobile diary study service for this user experience research.

Using dscout, Change.org's one-person research team designed and fielded two separate projects. The first was a discovery study with missions to understand user behavior, and the second was an app feedback study to beta test their Android app. The solution involved 50 users completing 7 missions, yielding 500 data points, and was completed in just three weeks. The results provided highly valuable insights into the mobile user experience for the Change.org team.
