Team GB, the brand of the British Olympic Association, faced the challenge of enhancing its fan experience and delivering an inspirational email program for the Winter Games. Due to the time difference with South Korea, they required additional professional marketing resources. They sought help from their vendor, dotdigital, specifically utilizing its Professional Services team.
dotdigital provided a solution by placing two digital marketing specialists on secondment at Team GB's HQ. These specialists built and executed email campaigns, curated messages for members, and provided customer support. A new email template was also created. This collaborative effort resulted in the sending of nearly 6 million highly relevant emails and drove 45,000 clicks during game time for Team GB.
