Naylors Equestrian, a long-standing UK supplier of equestrian and country wear, wanted to scale from a local shop into a national online retailer but faced a niche, price-sensitive market and limited email marketing capability. After outgrowing Mailchimp, they needed a more integrated, data-driven multichannel strategy that would boost sales, customer loyalty and automation while keeping the marketing operation lean.
Working with Space 48, Naylors migrated to Magento Enterprise and dotmailer, integrating purchase and browsing data to deliver personalized, automated email journeys, lifestyle content, targeted landing pages and campaigns (including a successful birthday voucher). In the first year those changes produced a 219% increase in revenue, 186% more transactions, an 11% rise in average order value and a 21% lift in email-to-purchase conversion, all managed by a two-person marketing team.
