Wolves wins big with cart abandonment emails and personalization tactics

Wolves, the football club and retailer, wanted to improve online sales and engagement by reducing cart abandonment and making its customer communications more relevant. Working with dotdigital and its Fresh Relevance solution, Wolves sought to better identify visitors, recover more lost revenue, and personalize onsite and email experiences.

dotdigital implemented triggered cart abandonment emails, personalized product recommendations, and data capture popovers. The results included a 60.9% cart abandonment ID rate, enabling more recovery emails, and a recovered cart value that was 27.9% higher than the average order value. Wolves also used Fresh Relevance to target new and returning visitors with tailored recommendations and launch sign-up campaigns.
