MyOptique Group, the online eyewear retailer, wanted to improve real-time marketing and personalization across its websites and emails. Working with dotdigital, using its Fresh Relevance capabilities, the company aimed to boost customer engagement with personalized content, abandonment recovery, and social proof.
dotdigital implemented cart and browse abandonment campaigns, product recommendations, user-generated social proof, and ratings-and-reviews features across channels. The results were strong: web recommendations drove 1.2% of online revenue for Glasses Direct, abandonment campaigns recovered revenue equal to 4.2% of total sales for Glasses Direct, 2% for Sunglasses Shop, and 4.3% for EyewearBrands, while social proof generated more than 5.7 million impressions.
