Entsorgungsservice Meindl is a leading waste removal and recycling provider in the Regensburg region that handles up to 1,000 incoming orders and invoices a day. Faced with strict audit-proof archiving requirements and time-consuming manual processing—previously involving up to eight staff sorting and filing—retrieving documents was slow and inefficient.

Meindl implemented an on‑premises DocuWare DMS integrated with ConWin to create a central document pool: digital delivery bills, driver confirmations, scanned and indexed disposal documents, automated AP approval workflows, and a customer portal for self-service. About 40 admin users now access electronic files (including HR records for 250 employees), invoices are auto-mailed monthly, approvals use digital task lists and e-stamps, and the company reports faster response times, improved traceability and a dramatic reduction in paper-based work.
