Mayfair Insurance, a Kenya‑based insurer active in six African countries, was burdened by thousands of paper files across policies and claims, creating filing errors, slow response times and exposure to loss from fire or water. Management evaluated several DMS options and selected DocuWare Cloud for its end‑to‑end simplicity and attractive total cost to address these operational and security risks.

DocuWare was rolled out in Claims and later extended to Underwriting and Accounting, capturing documents from paper, email and WhatsApp via scan or drag‑and‑drop, with automatic indexing, workflows, digital time‑stamps and ERP integration; about 80 users now work with the system daily. The result is near‑zero filing errors, faster customer response, improved fraud detection, easier regulatory compliance and a strong disaster‑recovery posture that significantly increased security and efficiency.
