Konrad GmbH is an automotive parts retailer with eight stores around Munich and about 160 employees that needed a legally compliant, tamper‑proof way to manage accounting documents and speed up processing of roughly 28,000 invoices a year (about 90% electronic). Their legacy DATEV archive and manual workflows risked slow approvals and lost invoices.

They deployed DocuWare’s preconfigured cloud solution for invoice processing, integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Microsoft Exchange, using Intelligent Indexing to auto-index and store documents audit‑ready and a workflow to assign, verify and approve invoices (including mobile approval). The new system delivered immediate, secure archiving, much faster invoice checks, no lost invoices, quick full‑text search and seamless replacement of their DATEV archive, with plans to expand DocuWare further.
