Carubba Collision, a family-owned auto body business serving the New York area for more than 60 years, wanted to modernize its accounting operations and connect QuickBooks with DocuWare. The challenge was managing paper-heavy invoicing and document handling while improving efficiency, visibility, and control for its growing business.
DocuWare implemented Smart Connect integration with QuickBooks, adding an “Invoice Look Up” button inside QuickBooks and enabling Outlook-based document handling. Invoices were scanned, automatically indexed, filed, and routed through digital approval workflows with notifications and reminders. As a result, Carubba Collision saved staff time, improved transparency, reduced paper-file searching, and supported business growth without a matching spike in operational burden, all through DocuWare.
