ILB Group is a Belgian transportation and logistics specialist managing land, sea and container movements for major chemical, pharmaceutical and plastics customers across Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain. Handling more than 1,000 supplier invoices per month in mixed formats (paper, email, portal PDFs) created duplicate printing, lost documents and frequent supplier payment disputes — problems compounded by different national ERP systems and the need for an ERP‑independent solution.

ILB implemented DocuWare Cloud with Kofax classification to centralize mail, automatically index invoices down to line items, match against purchase orders and push posting data to Navision/Exact/Transfusion. Invoices with PO matches are approved automatically and others are reviewed side‑by‑side on two screens. The result: faster, traceable invoice processing, virtually no lost documents or payment reminders, one‑click posting, remote auditor access, and the ability to absorb growth without adding accounting headcount — improving cost structure and competitive position.
