Paramount Citrus, a rapidly expanding grower, packer and shipper of fresh citrus, struggled to standardize accounting after acquiring new farms and packing operations. Its decentralized purchasing meant vendor invoices arrived at multiple locations and were faxed, scanned or mailed to the central office, creating duplicate copies, confusion and inefficiency while handling 5,000–6,000 invoices per month.

DocuWare integrated with the company’s existing Oracle system to store a single electronic image of each invoice and electronically route it for approval, eliminating duplicate documents and speeding approvals. With more than 100 users, the solution removed re‑verification at approval stages, reduced vendor confusion and duplicate payments, improved cash flow, and scaled to support nearly 10,000 invoices per month with standardized accounting processes.
