ETC Holland uses DocuWare Cloud to process orders, invoices and shipping documents

ETC Holland is a Dutch logistics provider that moves bulk materials (polymers, PVC, animal feed, minerals) with a fleet of over 100 trailers and about 350 trips per week. The company struggled with a paper-based workflow—orders emailed and printed, documents manually filed and forwarded—which consumed large amounts of administrative time, made audits and long-term retention cumbersome, and limited visibility for drivers and customers.

ETC implemented DocuWare Cloud (integrated with transport software Ixolution and a planned Salesforce sync) as a central digital archive with automated indexing and tablet capture of bills of lading. Documents are scanned, tagged and immediately available for processing or long-term retention, cutting manual work dramatically: order entry that formerly took a full day can now be done in bulk (50 orders at once), saving about 40 hours per week and speeding audits, customer access and overall business processes.
